"My clients understand that I'm genuine and honest with them. I tell it like it is so they know where they stand. I look for the positives and the strengths of their case and work to resolve any weak points. That is what they have come to expect from me - honest legal advice delivered in a straightforward manner."

Rob opened his own personal injury law firm in 2001 to serve people who had been injured physically and emotionally, many of whom were hurting and unable to work or lead the life they once had. Although he acknowledges he can't solve every problem, he can try to make life much easier for his clients.

"I listen to each client's challenges and do my best to give them hope for a better future. I worry about my clients and try to help them make decisions that improve their lives; I like the interaction with my clients and truly care about what happens to them. That is what makes me a good advocate as well as a good attorney."

Rob has been named a rising star and a Super Lawyer by his peers. He has argued cases in front of the Minnesota Court of Appeals and The Minnesota Supreme Court. He has tried cases to verdict and arbitrated hundreds of cases, recovering millions of dollars for his clients. Rob credits much of his tenacity and competitiveness in the courtroom to his years playing for the University of Minnesota's basketball team. Clem Haskins invited Rob to walk on the team in 1989 and earned a scholarship the following year. The same drive and ambition that carried him through years of basketball is now used to better the lives of his clients.

When not championing the causes of his clients, Rob can be found with his wife, three children and the family dog. He spends time on the basketball court as a Little League coach and has also taken up nature photography, walking the large wooded area near his home.
